There is a reason why Brits retire in Spain or why the Scandinavian countries are half empty. The Sun. The Sun is the giver of life, and it has been there forever. Worshiped by every civilization as the God, it couldn’t be any less, as there is no existence in this plane without it.
It is fuckin’ time. We live in a nursery society where we haven’t grown past age 5. We have to be extremely careful with things, just in case. We have to do as everyone else does, just in case. We have to watch our words not to offend others, just in case. We look up at people who ‘have a name’, just in case. We have to say sorry when someone else steps on our foot. FUCK THAT. Where did we leave our strength, honour, resilience and sovereignty?
For a long time the mind-emotions-body connection has sparkled my interest. It makes sense, therefore, that Singing and Fitness are the disciplines that define me the most. It’s always a good sign when mainstream science doesn’t recognize something, it usually means it contradicts their statements to date, so they discard it by saying it’s impossible or that it doesn’t exist. Bloody ignorance. What we know as science is a lie, because it only recognizes what can be perceived by the 5 senses at a given point/period in time/space, which is only a fraction of everything that exists. We basically live in a system based on history/science/education that exclusively serve the ones who rule.
Neither is Skipping, Basketball, Hiking, Pilates, Yoga, nor Walking for that matter. Or Martial Arts, lol! (ok, this one could be 23% training, I’ll give you that). No sport is training. Before you spit on my face, let me carry on: “You told me to move, Graciela, so I jog a lot, I cycle a lot, I walk a lot… but my ankles/knees/hips/back are hurting. You told me to push through the pain, so I push through the pain but the pain increases, it doesn’t go away. What am I doing wrong?” Great. You have now arrived to the entrance of the key to your problems 🙂

As a trainer, with my humble sports nutrition knowledge and experience I have designed a good number of Nutrition Plans for my clients, all of them with different food intolerances, allergies, preferences and tastes. In most cases, for fat loss/body toning, the rules are to increase protein and green vegetables’ intake and reduce fat amounts and unnecessary calories from ‘nutritionally empty foods’ (which may be rich in micronutrients and water but not macros, such as celery, lettuce, mushrooms, bone broth, etc). Now, is this optimal and adequate for every individual? the answer is no.
