Bio

I am Graciela Rodríguez, a Singer, a Fitness teacher, and a Dreamer.

I was born with the gift of Singing, and I have dedicated my whole life to master my craft, driven by my heart, like everything I do in life. Music came to me naturally as the best way to live and navigate this life, the language of the other world, the REAL world, the world of dreams where everything is possible.

I always knew I wanted to be a Singer, since little. I grew up in a small countryside village in a humble family, living off the land as it was in those times with not much, but a lot of love and the values of respect and dignity, rare things nowadays. About me, they’ve said that I am: “in my own world”, “a dreamer”, “naive”, “a woman of many talents”, “a pure soul who sings from the heart”, “she’s got it all” – gifts that can also be curses. I express this and more on my blog entries and songs.

I begged my parents to take me to study music, and so I started studied Music, Singing and Guitar at the age of 13 at the Escola Cantorum Santa Cecilia in Vigo, Spain. Later on I studied classical singing at the Conservatorio de Música de Vigo, Musical Education Sciences at the Universidad de Vigo, I did many courses in Singing, Piano, Guitar, Vocal Technique and Choral Direction, I was the soloist soprano at the Coro Universitario de Vigo, I was chosen to be one of the Voices of Europe who toured with Björk in 1999-2000, and I studied Jazz Singing at the Royal Academy of Music, London. I had extraordinary teachers: Lazara Maria Lladó, Rimas Zdanavicius, Susa Herrera, Tina May and Thorgedur Ingolfsdottir, to name the main ones. I also attended master classes with the Complete Vocal Institute, Barbara Bonney, Robert Ohotto and Robert Sussuma.

I dedicated half of my life to Teaching Music and Singing in schools and academies in Spain, and afterwards when I moved to the UK, as well as privately. I had over 2000 students under my wing over the years, of all ages and backgrounds, but I no longer teach Music or Singing conventionally as I did, as that was a period that fulfilled its purpose. The gift of conveying knowledge has always been with me too, and so now I carry on doing so in different ways.

I have performed at sold-out concerts in venues of renown around the world, such as Glastonbury Festival, Canary Wharf Jazz Festival, London Jazz Festival, Her Majesty’s Theatre, The Grieghallen, Ronnie Scott’s, Wembley Arena, Pizza Express Live, Crazy Coqs, etc. I have also sang for various high-profile personalities at private engagements such as the prime minister of Tanzania, the prime minister of Kazakhstan, and brands such as Mercedes Benz, Barclays Bank or BT. I have worked for Shakira and Ricky Martin, and I lived in Puerto Rico for a bit.

Later on I completed studies in Fitness, Nutrition and other various health, wellbeing, and spiritual studies. I am L2, L3 and L4 Fitness qualified, specialised in Strength & Conditioning, by Train Fitness (former Fitness Industry Education), The Fitness Circle and Strength & Conditioning Education. I also studied and the College of Psychic Studies and The Hermetic Academy. I am passionate about knowledge and discovering what’s hidden, always on the lookout for truth, depth and substance, and I live more in the unseen than in the seen. I honour my calling by doing what I love the most, which is to use all these gifts combined, not only because it’s my path and my way of being and expressing, but because it also inspires others to become their best selves: Music, Fitness, Truth, Dreams, Knowledge, and The Unseen.

I am also teaching my own branded/designed Breathing in Fitness workshops, applying the knowledge and experience I’ve gathered throughout the years. You can join me in my group classes at the various gyms where I teach, and watch me sing live at the venues where I perform in Southampton and London (UK). You can also listen to my music on the Music and Videos page, Apple Music, Spotify, etc, and buy my albums on the Shop page.

On my Blog you can read my latest articles and ramblings from a holistic perspective, and also poems and lyrics that spring from inspiration.

My new single “Synchronicity” is out, a song I wrote in 2023. I am writing my first book, “True Singing”.
