I notice a change in the audience when I sing. People don't pay attention to the music as much as before. The visual has overtaken the audio. New generations pay over £100 to see a DJ, and they won't pay £20 to see a live band in a club. They'll also pay fortunes to see a female pop star shake her body but won't pay the same money to see a big production such a classical orchestra or a musical, or a big band (which will awaken incredible sensations inside - but there'll be no sex involved). These are reserved to retired people, families, tourists and music students.
