Believe me, I really do.
Perhaps it’s time I shouldn’t.
Finally free,
hovering galaxies and the inner worlds.
For once I’d like to know
how would it feel
if I could wander in ignorant bliss,
unaffected, frivolous and facile,
unaware.
I fight against my heart,
with my mind.
And even though I know it’s a lost battle,
still,
I continue to try.
