Nobody wants a pure heart.
Specially when it’s coupled
with a fit body,
a pretty face,
an intricate mind,
and a profound soul.
A stern character,
but gentle demeanour,
talented, connected to source,
curious for knowledge.
Adventurous, intelligent,
but also giving, caring, soft,
no malice, no ill intentions.
Highly intuitive.
Sweet, wild and passionate all at once,
intense, all in,
deep and true.
Her femininity, her softness, her sixth sense.
But also her strength, her courage, her determination.
Her dreamy nature,
but also her common sense, her constance.
Balanced.
“She’s got it all” – someone said.
What’s the point,
if she’s alone.
All men want her,
feel attracted to her,
but no man chooses her.
Only to be admired from afar,
unreachable,
because they’re afraid
of being seen,
of having nowhere to hide,
of being stripped bare.
They feel intimidated,
that they can’t control her.
No man wants to man up
and meet her at her level.
No, it’s too risky for mere mortals.
And yet, she wishes to be owned,
claimed, ravished.
She wants to serve her hero and lord,
follow his lead,
give her gifts to him
completely.
But they think
they’ve got nothing to offer to her,
as “she’s too complete”
“too perfect”.
Too consistent, too true, too real,
nothing to fix.
Men want to fix things.
But no,
she doesn’t have it all,
neither is she complete,
far from perfect,
as she’s alone.
And what’s perfection, anyway,
if not a subjective illusion?
So tell me,
what’s the use of a pure heart?
