Extreme Naivety

May the naive,
the pure of heart,
those of a kind nature,
the innocent,
those who do no harm,
the guileless,
who see the best in everyone,
who have no malice
and hold no darkness
in their soul,
never encounter
evil
of the kind
they cannot handle.
May they be given
just enough
to know,
just enough
to learn,
but not so much
that they break
and disappear.

May we be protected.

I see now,
after 20 years,
another veil removed.
I see him now for who he is.
I’ve always been slow for this realm.
I live in the other dimensions.
And I can’t bear it.
To see
my extreme naivety,
pains me to the core.
How could he,
why did he,
do what he did
when in me he had everything.

He continues to be the same.

And the story repeats itself.

I didn’t deserve any of it.
I don’t deserve any of it.

May we be protected.
